Impersonal (im-per-son-al)
Impersonal means having no personal reference.
Indent (in-dent)
In writing, indent means to set back from one or both of the side margins of the page.
Index (in-deks)
An index is an alphabetical list of page references of names, terms and so on that appears at the end of a book.
Infinitive (in-fin-ni-tiv)
In grammar an infinitive is the simple form of the verb, usually prefaced by the word to.
Interpolation (in-terr-poe-lay-shun)
Interpolation is the act of inserting extra or new material into a quotation.
Introduction (in-troe-duk-chon)
The introduction is the first part of a book or essay. It gives the reader an indication of what the book or essay is about.
Invigilator (in-vij-i-lay-tor)
An invigilator is a person who supervises students during an examination.
IRAC (eye-rak)
IRAC is an acronym used to guide law students in essay writing that is formed from the words Issues, Rules, Analysis, and Conclusion.
