Gender (jen-der)
The word gender was originally used in grammar to classify nouns as feminine, masculine and neuter, it is also now often used to describe the socially inscribed characteristics of women and men.
Generic (je-nerr-ik)
Generic means an expression that names or is applicable to all members of a genus or class.
Gerund (jerr-and)
A gerund is a noun form derived from a verb.
Grammar (gram-ma)
Grammar refers to the technical features of language and their respective inter-relationships and correct usage.
